Indication : Why is this medication prescribed?
Treatment and prophylaxis of influenza caused by influenza A and B viruses including swing flu. It is inhaled twice a day for five days through Diskhaler
Contraindication: What are the special precautions to be followed?
Under following conditions, use of this medication is inadvisable. Its use should be withhold as it would cause harm to the patient Hypersensitivity. Chronic bronchitis, asthma or chronic obstructive lung disease.
Other Precaution to be observed while taking this medication
History of chronic cough.
What are possible side effects of this medication ?
Dizziness, irritation of the nose and joint pain. Precipitation and/or exacerbation of bronchospasm. Allergic reactions.
