Contraindication: What are the special precautions to be followed?
Under following conditions, use of this medication is inadvisable. Its use should be withhold as it would cause harm to the patient Hypersensitivity. Pregnancy, lactation and children.
Other Precaution to be observed while taking this medication
Patients with pituitary adenoma, weight related amenorrhoea. Polycystic ovary disease or endometriotic cysts, metabolic bone disease.
What are possible side effects of this medication ?
Hot flushes, weight gain, sleep disturbances, headache, hypertension, weight gain, decreased libido, abnormal vision, mood disorders, nausea, abdominal pain or discomfort, rash and impotence. Transient pain, redness or local inflammation at the injection site. Gynaecomastia, vertigo and dizziness. Dysmenorrhoea with heavy menstrual bleeding or spotting. Sweating, vaginal dryness, dyspareunia, breast pain, hair loss, small loss in bone density. Precocious puberty. Anaphylactic shock.
