Contraindication: What are the special precautions to be followed?
Under following conditions, use of this medication is inadvisable. Its use should be withhold as it would cause harm to the patient Acute infective endocarditis, haemorrhage or haemostasis disorder, active peptic ulceration, haemorrhagic cerebrovascular event, severe uncontrolled hypertension, diabetic or haemorrhagic retinopathy, injuries to or operations on the CNS, eys or ears, history of thrombocytopenia with nadroparin. Lactation. Diabetes mellitus.
Other Precaution to be observed while taking this medication
History of heparin induced thrombocytopenia, congenital or drug-induced thrombocytopenia. Severe hepatic or renal disease.
What are possible side effects of this medication ?
Hypoaldosteronism. Bleeding, thrombocytopenia, rash, haematoma and pain at injection site. Osteopaenic effects, increased ALT-AST.
