Acute musculo skeletal disorders, periarthritis (Frozen shoulder) tendinitis, tenosynovitis, bursitis, sprains and dislocations. Painful post-operative conditions. Pain following dental surgery. Painful inflammatory conditions in gynaecology.
Contraindication: What are the special precautions to be followed?
Under following conditions, use of this medication is inadvisable. Its use should be withhold as it would cause harm to the patient Soft contact lenses, aspirin/anti inflammatory drug induced allergy, surgical procedures. Active or recurrent peptic ulcers, hypersensitivity, asthmatic patients in whom attacks of asthma are precipitated by aspirin or other NSAIDs. Contraindicated during pregnancy and lactation. Contraindicated to paediatrics.
Other Precaution to be observed while taking this medication
Patients having a history of GI ulceration, haematemesis or melaena, ulcerative colitis. Crohns disease, cardiac and renal insufficiency, elderly patients.
What are possible side effects of this medication ?
Burning, stinging, delayed healing, GI upset, burning sensation, blurred vision, hypersensitivity, photosensitivity and keratitis punctate. Epigastric pain, nausea, diarrhoea, tiredness, insomnia, skin rash, itching, retention of fluid.
